My personal notes on life and work in Italy and the US. We travel through Europe with our two kids by camper and we work as consultants in everything from construction to photovoltaic plants in the US and Europe. We are licensed architects in California and Italy.

Venice Tourist Photos
Left the kids with the grandparents and took the camper to Punta Sabioni where we can park for free. With our Venice cards it's 1.20€ each way to use the Vaporetto which takes about 30 minutes to arrive at St. Marks.
If you live in the Veneto region you are entitled to purchase the Veneto Card for around 20€ that gives you a big discount on the transportation in Venice. The normal cost of one ride is 6.50€. The card is good for 3 or 5 years can't remember exactly right now.
Neato! What's the 'Venice card'? That's a really good price for the vaporetto. The photos are excellent, too!
